Located on the corner of Bevan Ave. & Fourth Ave. in Sidney BC, we are within walking distance to many other local shops, cafes, B&B's, and hotels. There is ample street parking available. Just a few blocks away from the beach, we guarantee you will feel fresh and beautiful when you leave the Salon!
Arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to check in, use the restroom, complete any necessary forms, and enjoy a coffee, tea or water. Our on-time performance is important to everyone at the Salon!
We are sympathetic that sometimes being late is outside of your control. We promise to always do our very best to perform the most complete treatment possible in the time remaining. Each treatment will be finished on time to accommodate the next client. Arriving too late to perform the scheduled service could result in full charges (equivalent deductions from gift certificates) without the opportunity to reschedule. To ensure that our salon runs on time, we regretfully cannot make an exception to this policy. For this reason, we recommend that you plan ahead for your relaxing visit to our salon. We'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about our location and parking.
Booking Appointments by Phone
When booking your appointment by phone, you will be asked to provide a valid credit card or gift certificate number to hold your reservation. Please note that no charges will be made to your credit card until your service is completed. Upon completion, you'll be able to pay for your services with your choice of Visa, MasterCard, debit or cash. We do not accept American Express. If you don't have a credit card, you can pre-pay for your services in cash to hold your reservation. If paying with an in-store purchased gift certificate, you will be asked to provide the hard copy after your service as payment.
Customer Satisfaction Policy
At Going Platinum we do not issue refunds on salon services. However, should you have any questions or concerns about the service you received in the salon, please notify us within three days of your service. If you are not satisfied with the work performed, we require that you return to the salon so that your hair can be visually inspected. At that time, we will make every effort to correct any problems to your satisfaction by rescheduling you with the stylist who performed the initial service; adjustments are made available to you at no cost only within the two weeks of the initial service.
If you need to cancel your appointment, please call us at 250-655-3443 at least 48 hours in advance. Since we turn away other clients to hold your reservation, any cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice (or no-shows) will result in full charges on your credit card (or the equivalent deduction from gift certificates). Groups of 3 or more people require 72 hours cancellation notice.
Here at Going Platinum we schedule our appointments in a timely manner. We allow enough time with each client to give a thorough consultation and the time needed to perform each service. Unanticipated no-shows, adding/removing services or cancellations create large gaps in the stylist’s schedule, leaving the stylist under booked and without pay.
Charges will be as follows:
Services under 1 hour: $0 (for first time - things happen, we understand)
Services under 1 hour: $10 (not the first time)
Services from 1 - 2 1/2 hours long: $50
Services over 3 hours long: $100
